Was my car previously painted by previous owner?

Hey guys just wanted to know because Ive seen some NBP in person and they seem more darker and more vivid looking, mine looks brighter and less unique. Im in CALI right now and I just saw a type-s and base tl tonight (both NBP) and the black color of those cars look far better than mine! Anyways just wondering if anyone does notice if mine was painted before (in the wrong color) and how to fix these scuffs and dings on my front bumper (best way and most efficient longlasting way + how much )

This picture is with the scuffs/dings on the front looks bad up close

This one is picture of the detail I got that took out all the spiderwebs and minor scratches on car (previous owner) the previous owner took poor care of car (wheels have major curb rash) those are the pictures after installing the aspec kit btw if you can see it in those pictures

thanks again

Check the vin numbers on all the parts (bumpers, doors, etc) to see if they match, get a CarFax, have a body shop take a look at the car as they will be able to give more info.
Only way to get ride of the scrapes, scratches, and the enormous amount of paint chips is to redo the bumper.

VIN = Vehicle Identification Number. "VIN number" is redundant.

but, to second what he said, i definately suggest the same. good luck!

Camera Phone Pics, FTL!

go to a body shop as stated, or find a high end detailer that can measure paint depth, and you will be able to tell

There are also some other ways to tell. On the TL, the easiest way is that you should have a vin sticker on every body panel. For example, pop the hood, and you should see the stickers on the two fenders, on the hood and maybe the front bumper (don't remember on the bumper).

Imma try to look at everything you guys suggested when I get back to home in Texas. I'm using a rented Impala 3.5 car and its HORRENDOUS. Worst car ever, it wastes gas, and its slow for a 3.5L engine.

You can look for the Vin's just inside your back doors and under the trunk lid.
