My 5 day forcast.

Today while driving around my temp display was "----------". I had no reading. As you can see it is hot in Tucson right now. Its probably around 120 degrees on the black top. At one point it read 111 degrees and then went back to "--------". Is this normal? Should I make a trip to the dealer? Thanks guys

It is not normal but after you read all about it here and still cannot solve your problem, a trip to the dealer would be in order.

From the 3G Garage:
F-088: Has anyone had the Outside Temp Display go flatline? Maximum temp: 115

Thanks Ron. Looks like the top speed of our temp display is 115. I guess I will have to get used to the flat line in Tucson. Damn, and its only May. Its gonna be a hot mudder chucker this summer.

If it stays flatlined after your cool nights, watch out. If you leave the engine off for 4 to 5 days, you'll have a dead battery. If it does stay flatlined after cooling off, pull number seven fuse for a few seconds or disconnect the negative battery cable for around the same amount of time. This should reset the display without loosing your radio settings.
