Just read this thread with the updated first post (which made me say WTF??).
How funny that such a first (initial) post can turn into one of the best advertising threads I've seen! Kudos for Mr Heeltoe!
Man, I love AZ!!

In the interest of equal time for our sponsoring vendors who spend a big wad of cash each month to be here- making azine happen for us!~
thanks to ALL of our sponsors

there are 2 places I trust for the right parts, at a good price, from a knowledgable source on the TL, and other import cars

Josh of Excelerate, www.excelerateperformance.com is the other one~

Patrick -ExcelDetail supplies my detailing product needs

This thread does show the advantage of phone calls in todays world
PMs may not be seen for days- in the amount of IM EM PM each place gets in a day,,,50 to 500 on average day---every day,,,they may not have time to go thru PMs-
emails get first read!!
questions or messages in threads may not be seen for weeks!

PHONE or email...the heeltoe customer service page will send an email message direct to Marcus 24-7..but give the guy a break, cant work 24/7 so may take a few hours to get back to you with info

Mods- can we close this thread now- or delete- or change title to `online ordering and anxiety in the new millenium`

why is it when you speak a truth someone doesnt want to hear-
it totally knocks the wind out of their blustery billowing sails of frustration-

they say you are `making excuses`

I say its an `explanation` if it does indeed reveal hidden facts and insider knowledge of a particular subject,,,

but to the OP I was `making excuses` by explaining how it could have all gone wrong
And in the end- 1 phone call found it was in the computers issue-- and solved it all~

My wife tries to pull that on me too...if she dont want to hear it--Im making excuses
Thats about the time I grab the helmet and start the bike--its a honda!

Yeah...in this day of texting emailing etc...I sometimes go a month before even speaking to my father and he only lives 20 min. away. Very impersonal and easy because it constantly places the burden of response on the other person rather than just picking up the phone.

No personal attack here, just a revelation I had about the state of communication (or lack thereof) in this day and age. Very impersonal and a lot gets lost and misinterpreted.

That being said...I opt to use AMEX and have lifelock...amex has always taken care of any dispute I have within a few days and lifelock guarantees to protect your identity for 10 bucks a month. Maybe good alternatives to these virtual cards?

okay, ill post my POSITIVE experience with Marcus

So I ordered a switchblade key for my friend that lives in another state. Ordered it online, had no issues whatsoever.

I was going to see my friend (out of state) and I wanted to bring him his key which had not arrived yet but let me add it had only been a few days.
I called Marcus and asked if my key had shipped yet, he said no but it is shipping today. I asked if he would overnight it to me and i'd pay the extra fees. He kindly agreed and even printed the shipping label and emailed me tracking info before I even hung up the phone with him. My point is he went out of his way to help me and it was greatly appreciated.

I am a big supporter of ALL of our azine vendors! I have done business with JnC, Heeltoe, excellerate, and ATLP and they are ALL awesome!!

I have a similar problem before, but Marcus resolve the issue with me quickly. To be honest, I agree that he is little bit too "concern" his well being WITHOUT really digging thought the reason/history behind it. Marcus was here to support us for a while if he is read the forum regularly, he should know Marcus would NOT do anything that would hurt his reputation

I just get the new HT email with link to the socks-
while they are NOT nomex or fire resistant socks, they are good for basic driving fun in a comfortable sock- will have to give a few sets a try.
If only they came in mototrcyle boot size~

You know people say this from time to time but I have yet to see a real major difference, after using my coupon that is. You need the coupon in my sig to get the best price.

Anyway, my east coast counterpart try to keep prices the same to avoid any price bashing. Just in case you guys were unaware.

Nobody wins there man. Haha. You get low prices for a short time, then the companies go outta business. Then you get all kinda crappy vendors in here beating each other up and giving you crappy service.

BEWARE THE "OUTTA THE BLUE" VENDOR USING HEAVY GOOGLE ADVERTISING.
