if you provide a % of hwy and a % of city driving you do, we can give you a better estimate on MPG.

i.e. 80% hwy and 20% city

i get 30mpg on highway on short trips about 110 miles, with an average of ~60mph. ive got 29mpg on longer trips, but thats with traffic. it also depends on what brand of gas is used - Valero gives me at most 28 while Shell gives me 30mpg (on the same trip)

I can get ~35 mpg if I drive slow and steady at 60 mph, but that means I'm in the rightmost lane getting hit by the stones from the transport trucks and being passed by Smart cars.

So I usually drive a little bit (or perhaps a lot more) spirited and I've been averaging 25 mpg.

His is what i do

Everytime I get gas a fillup the tank, and clear trip A, I get around 200 miles per tank. I drive on semi-automatic shifting up fast to keeps the rev very low.

Thanks to all who replyed to my post. I am picking up my new 08 TL-S next week which is my upgrade from my current 06 TL. I am glad to hear that the actual mpg is almost the same as my 06 TL AUTO ! Not too shabby! :-)
