Moonroof Visor Question

Opened the sunroof the other day, weather was fantastic on the east coast, and realized that the noise level was terrible. I'm considering installing the visor - has anyone done this themselves and how does it attach to the car? I don't want to use any type of glue or tape. Any input from folks that have one is appreciated. Thanks

I don't have a visor and the wind noise doesn't bother me much at all. Now, on my '01 CL-S, it was a different story.

If the noise is a loud throbbing sound, just crack one of your rear windows slightly. Doing so may help a lot. The visors do help, but I think they detract from the style of the car.

The sunroof visor is an easy install, there's 4 clips that go under the lip of the sunroof opening and you just tighten it down. You're going to get alot of non visor owners complaining the looks but if you enjoy driving with the roof open and still being able to have a conversation it's the only way to go.

I put a visor on my '99 TL, '04 TSX, and '04 TL, it makes a huge difference.

99WDP - Thanks for the input - thats what I was hoping to hear - how long does it take to put on/remove? Is it something that you can leave on for the summer and remove for the winter?

Maybe, but if I remember correctly the nuts are nylon and may not hold up well to lots of loosening/tightening. BTW, I'm pretty sure there are only two clips, not four. The hardest part of the install is trying to line everything up correctly, but it can all be done in 15-20 minutes. BTW, I leave mine on year round since I'll leave my sunroof open unless it's fridged out, raining or snowing. The visor makes a big difference. Even had the sunroof open this morning on the way to work -- 5:45 am and a balmy 29 degrees.

Jarrettsville, eh? I have a sister that lives between Forest Hill and Jarrettsville and a sister-in-law in Kingsville. Nice area!
