I just bought a MOMO shift knob and finisher... i have no clue how the finisher works. Can anyone help with this?

If the "finisher" you're speaking of is the chrome collar on the bottom of the new knob, just unscrew it off the shifter. Then slide the collar/finisher down the car's shifter stem FIRST. Then, put the new shifter knob on the stem, screw it on evenly, tighten it down and then bring the collar/finisher up and screw it back onto the knob.

Does that make sense??? That's what I did with my Momo shifter knob.

 

Thanks but that doesnt integrate the knob with the boot... I bought a different finisher and have no clue how it works... check out the pic i posted, see the metal piece at the top of the boot... thats the finisher im referring to.
