Take the 1 inch wide strip and cut it down the middle to make 1/2 inch strips. It will go on the rubber seals MUCH easier. I did this install about a week ago myself.

Just measure each window, and that is the approximate total length you will need. As said, cut into 1/2" strips so the entire strip will stick to the wiper.

rets is working on some additional information, and XPditor may be able to provide some pictures soon, but in the meantime there is a lot of info in the 3G Garage.

awesome,

since i have access to bulk moleskin, i'll offer it "free" to whoever needs it. "free" means you just pay for shipping, i think $3 should cover it. $3 is probably a tad more than actual, but the extra funds go into buying more moleskin.

i don't understand why some are selling moleskin "kits" for $20 when a 100ft roll only costs $17.

cheers
interested? email me cvajs@yahoo.com

Well i'm definitely interested.. Emailed you now! I have 35% Metallic Suntek on for past month and have scratches galore! I hope no damages happen when taking the scratched up tint off. All 4 windows have at least one long scratch.. one window has about 8 huge scratches. My roommate, who is a professional tinter, saw it in disbelief and never had to deal with moleskin crap on any of his cars.. He really doesn't want to take it off but he was confident it didn't need the moleskin..He told me to put some on, and go with it for a while (keeping track of my current scratches) to prove that the moleskin prevents any other scratches from happening.. then he will take off and put new tint on.

I wish that you had posted this about 2 weeks back before I bought one of the "kits". Oh well, the kit had the moleskin already cut (although I had to trim it from 3/4 inch down to 1/2 inch wide) and had photo instructions. Although, I ended up not using his instructions and doing the install a different as posted in another thread on here.

I received the moleskin from cvajs as promised! Sending out his $3 today. I can't believe how simple this stuff really is. It looks like normal felt.. not sure what's 'mole' about it?

Hopefully I can find pictured step-by-step instructions on how to put it on and the time to put it on soon..

If anybody wants moleskin for $3 just let cvajs know!

Thanks cvajs!
