Which mods should i do for summer !?

Watts up guys i have a 06 WDP auto tl. It's bone stock except for the a-spec kit and im looking to do some mods for the summer, nothing to pricey. I was thinking CAI and some new interior lights ( different color), tinting out the tail lights, and painting my head lights black inside, if anyone else has some mods please share them with me.

Ok...to help you get started....

CAI....get an AEM unit...ebay or a vendor on here will have competitive pricing.

Tinting out tails....search Rockblocker...a vendor on here. I have some extras I never used if you want em. PM me offer if interested. Tails and rear side markers tint precut to fit. Say $50?

Painting headlights. I am assuming you meaning "clearing your headlights" search that term....you will get several threads with do it yourself directions.

As far as other mods....

Search...Shaved Doorlock mod ($12)
Shorten Door lock stubs mod (free)
I cant help you with LED mods....I consider them :ghey: personally...but Kennedy is well versed on LED mods and should be able to point you in the right direction. Search his SN or PM him. He will have lots of stuff for cheap you can do that you are likley to find cool. Nothing against them....just not into it on that end.

Debadging. (Free)
UR underdrive crank pulley ($175)
Outlaw Thermoblok spacers ($95)
Comptech Rear Sway Bar or New Progressive Rear Sway Bar (highly recommend)

That should get your started anyway.

Yes...its definately worth it. Actually...I installed my pulley (assuming you are talking about the lightweight R crank pulley and not the high boost pulley) both before AND after. I had the UR underdrive pulley on it when it was N/A - but when I went supercharged...I had to change out to the stock sized lightweight supercharger pulley so I didnt lose boost.

I am sure your difficulties are getting the crank bolt out, correct? I had mine done, so I didnt have to wrestle with it....but I do hear they are in there pretty good!

Clearing and Blacking them out is all done in the same process sir. If you can clear em....you can black em out. Basically...it consists of baking them in the oven for X mins at x degrees and cracking them open, ect. Many on here have done it sucessfully and can give you tips on how to accomplish it.

Actually...I think LeeDog has cleared/blacked out.

That is all something your search feature will help you out on. Again...I write too many "books" on here as it is, as many will tell you. lol.

Search....the faster you learn to use the feature...the faster a polethora of information will be at your fingertips. This info is already here about five times over. So not to be a total dick....basically...

UR underdrive is going to increase your throttle response a bit and make the car overall more responsive. Only thing to consider here...is are you a HUGE stereo and amp fan. If so....you dont want to go underdrive. Otherwise...no big deal

Thermoblok spacers help keep the top end of your engine cool, which again...helps throttle response and response overall and performace overall (in a big nutshell there)

Comptech Sway Bar or Progressive Sway Bar....is going to GREATLY improve your handling and give it a WAY more sporty ride which will again...be way more responsive.

Hope that helps some. More detailed explanations can be found by searching or check out the 3G Garage for lots of good info!

UR pulley thread: Here is a quick search for you...

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ghlight=pulley

Outlaw Thermoblok Spacer thead:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...Outlaw+Spacers

Comptech Sway Thread:

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...=Comptech+Sway

Now...two of the three above threads are ALL IN THE 3G Garage

Here is a link to that....most everything you are going to want to know will already be there! This way I dont have to type for five hours!!

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84831

Now....here is an ultra funny link you should watch though or the guys around here are going to eat you for lunch (or as they say in the link...the kids will laugh at you!) No offense really....it is totally meant as a joke but does have a point! It is hilarious though!!

Question about the UR Pulley. When I look at the Unorthodox website it says for 99-03 TL 3.0/3.2L (Incld. Type S). Is that the same pulley for a 04-07? I would like to order the pulley, but obviously want to make sure I order the right one.

Progress RSB from EXCELERATE PERFORMANCE -
Was definitely the best bang for buck for me.

I think the OEM on 5AT is ~15mm on 06 tl not sure about 07
Progress RSB is 22mm

How about painting it?...The whole thing...NBP!!

Start now, by summer you will be banging!!!

But nah, you'll probably just paint the calipers, add the CAI, tint it and appear mere mortal...
