what are the diferences of the tl,type s and s spec

A spec isn't really a model of the TL. I believe its just a dealer installed package that includes a ground effect package, 18" wheels, different shocks/springs, and a badge.
Otherwise, in 04-06 there is only one model TL and that's the base with it without nav. In 07/08 you can buy base model TL or Type S.

Plus a diff steering wheel.

Did it also change brake pads in the autos? I forget.
