I don't know if there is a problem with my climate control system or not but I can't seem to select the mode which air flows from the defroster vents. It is specifically said in the manual that there are 5 modes: 1. Air flows from the center and corner vents. 2. Airflow is divided between the dashboard vents and floor vents. 3. Air flows from the floor vents. 4. Airflow is divided between floor vents and defroster vents. 5. Air flows from the defroster vents. When I hit the mode control button, it only cycles through 4 modes even when I hit the defroster button, mode 4 is selected. Is this happened to every one or there is a problem with my climate control system?

 

I've noticed the same, but never thought too much about it ...

Selecting the option that divides the airflow between the defroster and floor vents works for me, and clears the front window very quickly IMHO.

Interesting question! Let's see what other folks think.
