Memory seats that forgot but remembered
OK, at first I did not care about the memory seat issue as I am the only driver of the car. But, I did want it fixed in case that changes....
But someone suggested that you have the seat back to get in and out easier, so I did that. It was working great, easy to get in, hit the other button and you are set to go. However, the gremlin came and it forgot both settings. I said f%ck! Oh well, I will do something later. Then yesterday, THE THING REMEMBERED THE SETTINGS!! I did not do anything and it has them back in memory.
This is a strange car at times. But I do love the thing.

Go to this thread and scroll down to the Memory Seat Service Bulletin. One of the symptoms is not recalling the memory until the ignition switch has been turned on or the seat adjustment switch is activated. http://www.acura-tl.com/forums/showt...507#post736507
Was this the case? Is your VIN below 018476 which the bulletin cuts off at?
Twice so far mine has not responded to the memory switch until I moved the seat, and my VIN is after the cutoff. I won't bother with it unless it gets worse. Wit a 4 year warranty there is plenty of time to get the small stuff fixed.

Thanks for the link. I missed that one for some reason.
I am in the 16K range, so I will have them fix when I take it in for my first service whenever that is
