Memory seat idea
The back of my key fob says: "Press [unlock] and [lock] at the same time to link / unlink memory seat"
Do you suppose that is why our seats lose their brains? I could easily imagine both buttons getting pressed in my pocket.

No.
This is for someone may not like to open door and link their chair/miror setting at the same time, they can disable this key fob by this way.
