Angry Memory and seat heater problems

I am currently experiencing 2 issues with my 04 TL that I wanted to share with the group and see if anybody else has experienced them and what the resolution is

1. Has anyone noticed a problem with their memory seating not being saved? This has happened to me several times over the past 2 weeks.....I will look at the memory button (ie- #1) and the light won't be on. After stopping, I will push the button and nothing.....both settings are lost. I have to reprogram it again. I have also noticed that the mirror setting didn't restore at least once between memory 1 and 2. This problem is intermittent. When I brought it to Acura for service, the memory was working just fine

2. Also, has anybody experienced a problem where the driver's side seat seems to get warm even though the seat heater is off.

That doesn't seem to happen with the passenger side seat.

Thanks in advance for help

Someone mentioned the seat memory problem, but you might add the seat heat item.

thanks!

I've heard the seat problem at vtec .net. Up to now all have operator caused. To do the seat settings:
1- the car must be in park
2- set the seat to your liking.
3-press the memory key.
4-once you do that 1&2 buttons will flash.
5-press the desired button
Your memory is set
make sure nobody else uses the same number!!!!
The seat will return to its memory position when the fob to open the door is pressed or when the appropriate button is pressed. YOU ALLWAYs MUST USE THE RIGHT FOB. They are numbered in the back.
The hot seat is a different issue. (I would have that checked by the dealer might imply a short somewhere)

memory

I have experience the memory seat problem. I set the seat on the first day I owned the car (setting 1). When the seat is adjusted to setting 1 the #1 is illuminated. The next day the #1 was not illuminated. I moved the seat manually (in park) and pressed #1. Nothing... I reset the memory and it's been fine since...??? Wierd...

Me too, but with a twist...I opened the door with my properly set fob and nothing. I pressed #2 and nothing (wife is #1). turned the key on and the memory returned. Reset my fob (probably didn't have to) and worked fine since. When I started the car, after the memory issue, the climate control was off (lost its previous setting)...go figure.
