Well, last night I was driving home from the mall with my girl and a kid in his 2001 cobra pulled up side me and revved his motor. I looked over at my girl and she said just do it already. In first gear we were about even and in second he pulled about a 1/2 a car on me. The is third he pulled another 1/2 a car and then we both shut down because there was a lot of cops out that night. I think he only had an exhaust but i never got to talk to him. i was not disappointed at all. I think my car did very well against 320hp. once I put that S/C on their it will be a different story.

 

01 cobra eh..

good job on 1st gear cuz cobra has lot more torque. I'm supriseed you did about even there.

now.. 03 cobra is different story.

 

Yeah I was a bit suprised. and your right with the 03 cobra. my buddy has one with the upgraded pulley, chip and exhaust that thing is crazy fast. he jumps 2 car lengths off the line and continues to pull on me. I would not have even wasted my gas on that thing. I initially thought that it was a GT because it was all debadged.

 

nice job hanging with the kid. Damn didn't know your going FI, so I guess I'm not gonna race you again lol.

If I had spare money right now, my summer car would be 03 cobra (or the 07 cobra coming out). it is simply best bang for the buck.

not feeling the new camaro....now the new dodge challenger looks kick ass...plus the 6.0L hemi...now thats a car I'd buy for 35K!

WTF, they both look KICK ASS!!!!!!!!! They will both be hella fast and I wonder what power plant they put in the Camaro. I bet a 6.0 V8or dare I say the Z06 7.0 V8?
