CVT FTL....literally!!

 

I've been looking for a TL-S to race. I'm curious about they're performance compared to base TL's. I'm just about even with modded 6spd G35s, I wouldn't mind racing a TL-S 6MT

 

How are you keeping up with modded 6 speeds in your barely modded 5AT? I should be a little quicker than a 6MT TL-s. Just saying

I have a vid of me racing a modded 6MT G35. He had me by half a car from a 5mph roll to about 80. We raced twice, same outcome. I'll post that up later.

 

And just so everyone knows, these autos need to be driven very well to get the most out of them. Keeping it in D just won't cut it. There's a huge difference; one that I've proved by testing.

 

Most of the cars you ran had the CVT trans which has a delay. I think you should run ur friend again and let him take off first. By your vids, you should have no problem catching up and Passing.

What are the mods on the 6spd G35? DE or revup? We should do a couple runs. No offense, but I can't see us being all that close. You have a Ztube and plenum spacer for mods and that's it?

I apologize if I sounded cocky in my last post. I realized that could've been taken as me being a d1ck and I apologize. What I meant was, for you to be beating these Maximas as much as you did and hanging with modded 6spd G35s is pretty impressive, almost too impressive. I'm not doubting that your car is quick. I'm also not saying my car is fast, because it's not. It's quick for a bolt on Accord, but by no means fast.

There is a meet tonight and apparently there are gonna be some runs. I'm about 95% sure I'm going. PM me for details.
