Well, the holidays and the crappy winter weather are both here... so get ready for more acident reports..

It does seem like more have been reported lately on A-zine, but it also seems like people are coming out relatively unscathed.. which is a point in the column for the TL.

Just to play devil's advocate; those who were killed or badly hurt in TL accidents wouldn't be able to post about it, eh? Everyone be safe!

Remember, the 3G TL's been on the market for just over 2 years now, so as time goes on, there's more and more of them are out there. The greater the # of a specific make/model on the road, the more of them likely to be involved in accidents.

this is also a forum where people come to complain....or rave about something...so you'll mainly see accident reports, you won't really see someone who says they had a nice drive home from work lol

I had a wonderful drive to work today - except for the glove box rattle. There was no traffice and the stereo sounded fantastic. Supposed to get that fixed on Wednesday next week.

I did have an accident recently though. Exactly 1 hour after driving it new off the lot, someone backed into the rear bumper at a restaurant parking lot. Had it fixed last week. This little incident really dampened my excitement of having a new TL.

Don't you know that virtually every new car has an invisible sign on it that says:
"ATTENTION ALL TRUCKS!"

Angry No - You're right...

It's not just you - I got rear ended in my way to work Wednesday morning. I have not had the heart to post out of disgust. 5-10 Mph hit from some biatch who thought traffic had started to roll at a light. Her bumper was a little lower - she hit me with enough force to pop the top of the pumper off its mounts, leaving it sitting an inch lower. Cops came to the scene. I'm resolving through insurance. Not even 5 months old....

Bottom line - I'll need a new bumper and a few of the brackets that the bumper snapped onto will need to be replaced.

And yes, it was the curse of the Anthracite Metalic paint - add me to the list.

Maybe you'rew just noticing too many TL accidents because you're on a TL forum? Maybe if you had a Kia something you'd be noticing the same thing about Kia's on some other board right now.......

There is this guy who works in the same building I do ( different department ) whom BTW smokes therefore we do not commute ( smokes and smells like he smokes, sorry guys but I used to and now the aroma of cigarettes just makes me nauseous )..anyway one day he says to me ...your brake light is broken I see it go on but it never stays on, one day as I was following you home, the car almost came to a complete stop and then I saw the rear brake light go on... , good thing I was paying attention otherwise some else could have rear ended you... , wow I said must be because I hardly ever touch the brakes, and downshift to almost a complete stop.....he looked at me with a "lost" look....
Do you do that?..
