Maybe we should compile "Instructions for rattle fixes DIY"

Since many members here have success fixing rattles, we prolly should put their write-ups together so other ppl can download and follow.

That would be great. There are a bunch of threads about it in the 3G Garage, buuut the pictures in many of those no longer work and it's hard to follow the instructions without the photos.

I am having a rattle problem with the rear deck...something to do with the subwoofer. The cars not even 3 weeks old, and it only rattles on certain songs with pretty loud bass. It's very annoying though, and I know I've seen other people with the same exact problem. Anyone got a fix for this?

solution # 1... hot glue gone... lift and dab...
solution # 2... black silicone with gaulking gun... lift and dab

works everytime... I preffer 2 since it is much cleaner
