Yea you'd pretty much loose the nice brushed aluminum look. But ideally it'd be so easy to remove you could keep it in the console and just use it when you need to.

I dunno, it was an idea and something to play around with. Molding is not easy though.

No sir, it's not, gotta make the negative mold first, but then still take into account the inside to slide it over. That would not be fun...

Was headed in a pretty funny direction with that first...but you don't know me well so it didn't come across.

It is the counter sunk one. I think the angle of the pictures are off

Im really not into aftermarket knobs. I really like the OEM one but didnt want to drop money on a new one if it would look like crap later on. Had I known 4th Gen is $40 I would have gotten that one instead.

I like it, wasnt extremely cold in winter but I live in Houston. When summer rolls around, I may have some 3rd degree burns . Time will tell
