Anything's possible. I replaced the stock automatic in my XJ-S V-12 with a Tremec 5-speed five or six years ago - and didn't have the luxury of a factory built manual tranny version to steal parts from. A British company that specialized in Jaguar mods reprogrammed my ECU, most of the rest of it was sweat equity and old fashioned hot-rodding. But then I'm an old fart who has been modifying cars since long before most of you were born.

The real problem these days is the electronics. The Jag had a dumb transmission (no electronics controlling it) so I just had to deal with one relatively primitive ECU for the ignition/fuel injection and a few side issues like disabling the cruise control when the clutch pedal was depressed.

In the case of your TL, you would face the problem of not having a 3.2 6MT to steal parts from and the likelyhood the TL-S 6MT electronics wouldn't be compatible with your 3.2, and the parts from the '06 (which I think was the last year for the 3.2 6MT) also being incompatible. With a car as new as yours, it would probably be less expensive for you to simply trade it in on a TL-S 6MT if you can find one that was traded in for an '09.
