here some action photos. i was like, 10 feet awat from the fire. my girl actually lives 5 hours up the block from there (thats why it was her mechanic)
her car was there for.... get this..... BAD MASTER CYLINDER / BRAKES !! lol. same f*king problem that put my car into a wall...

I remember this gas station. Just a couple years ago they tried ripping me off. I took my 93 mazda mx3 there for a state inspection and they said I needed a new exhaust. They showed my a hole in my exhaust that I have never seen before. I told em "wtf, that wasnt there before" but the guy acted like a jerk and said "Well thats there". My car was quiet (was stock) when I dropped her off but I left with a noisy car due to them poking a hole in one of the pipes.

Its always like that, when something bad happen, the rest keeps on rollin on the same VIBE. 2006 was my bad year, alot worse then wasted cars....but now 2007 is another thing.

Allon since her car was in the shop for bad master cylinder maybe this was a blessing in disguise. It's better for it to be destroyed like this then ending up in a wall with someone possibly injured. It's still very hard to look at, just glad no one was hurt. I think yous should get matching TL-S.

Despite all the talk of a curse, I don't think the color black caused the brake lockup in your other post, or the gas station fire. It might have caused bozos not to see it when they clipped you -- I've see the NBP invisibility topic on other threads. The flip-side is I've also seen stuff elsewhere that describes the "moth effect" where people crash into emergency vehicles because they are attracted to the lights which make them MORE noticeable. So you can't just paint your car day-glo either!
As for bad karma for caring too much about a car -- I always get that when I wash my car and the birds come out to do their business.
At least it can be washed away, unlike a key-scratch from someone jealous. What can we do? Get cars we don't care anything about?
Even then, we'd still wash them and start to care. And soon we'd be tuning them and putting aftermarket parts on etc and the whole 9 yards... So don't try to over-analyze all this.
At least after all this, you'll have some crazy pics to show your kids one day! Like lot of things in real life, truth can be stranger than fiction.

Going forward, if your gf wants to stay with Mazda, the new Mazda 3's are nice - I like the 5-door in blue a lot better than the old Proteges or 323s.
As for you, if you could hold out till the 4G '09s , they might be great.
Either that or an '07 TL-S. Or just lease a KIA for awhile until you figure things out.
