For those that use LC FP60, How often do you use the product in your fuel system? I cannot find how often we are suppose to use it? Any help would be appreciated.

 

Every fillup at the rate of 1 oz. of FP to every 5 gallons of gas. So if you add 12.5 gallons of gas to the car, you add 2 and 1/2 oz. of FP to the tank. I like to add the FP before I add the gas to help mix it in. I end up estimating how much FP to the 1/2 oz.

And yes, adding FP is a PITA. I'm going back to Techron after this gallon of FP is used up.

 

I usually carry my Filled FP60 bottle with me, so I can use it whenever I need it. For new cars, I usually it every after 2 gas pumps.

 

FP60 should be used at every fill-up technically, to obtain the full benefits. I personally find it a PITA as chuck finds it that way as well, to add an additive at every gas fill. Technically, running 2oz of FP60 per 5 gallons of fuel in one tank every few thousand miles would also give the fuel system a clean-up as well.

Not everyone experiences a fuel economy increase from using FP60, its about 50/50.
