Wondering where everyone got their chrome trim for their lower grill on their 04-06. I bought some from autozone but they seemed too small girth wise when I held them against my lower grill. Im lookin for somethin that would wrap around the middle, larger grill piece a little easier than those dinky door trim pieces. Any ideas/suggestions of where to go? pepboys?

 

I got mine at autozone. It did seem a little small and it was hard to put on but it worked. Odd though it looks like it has slid over time which I am confused about because it was really tight. I figured I would just leave it for now since I want to do some fogs soon so I'll fix it then.

 

Get the door edge molding chrome. It slides over the lip of the grill, preventing it from slipping and it just looks better

 

Yes, Pepboys carries it but I think it's the same stuff you got at Autozone.

 

I dont know, that stuff seems too small. I trying to find something a little larger. Anyone have an idea of what can be used here? Maybe I'll rummage around at home depot.

 

I was never a huge fan of the chrome when i put it on. Has anyone ever consider using this stuff to color match the lip? I think that would look awesome. costs a little high though

Well if all works out with my headlights, I will be doing a black chrome effect on these or at least gunmetal and see how it looks since they are so cheap. Not huge on the chrome either.
