Lower control arm bushing replacement...

Car has noise from left wheel area over small bumps. I discovered this and fixed and no more that noise

However than I discovered that lower control arm front bushings looks not good.

When I drive on the highway and have to turn like 90 degrees, in that not sharp than curved hgwy way, I always feel unsafe and have to slow down. Is it this culprit?
I found at bout side this broken to. What is it?

Can I use duct tape to fix this? Or any other kind of tape.

I needed the same bushings, I just bought new lower control arms from Rockauto instead of replacing the bushings in the OEM arm. Mevotech is the brand I used and the install was nice and easy. You will need a ball joint remover tool to get the ball joint out of the knuckle.

Did I see some video past year where some Chinese unscrew front compliance bushing and just turn wheel and front compliance bushing jump out of housing or I just dreamed it? Can not find that video at youtube.
