Low Dust Brake Pads - 6MT

fyi - recently installed a set of Rotex Gold Kevlar pads, and am very pleased with the
extremely low dust from the front Brembos.

These probably aren't the pads you want for autocross or track days, but for everyday
driving, are proving quite good.

Bought mine from BrakeWarehouse.com (part #DA049D) for $80 shipped.

Went to that site, BrakeWarehouse.com and did a search on Brake Pads for Acura TL.
They only show up to 2003.

Yeah...should have mentioned that you have to call them.

Their web site isn't the most up to date.

Probably why they can keep their prices INSANELY LOW!!!

Also - the Brembo calipers installed on the Acura are also on several other vehicles, as the list shows:

have you noticed any change in braking performance? Im about to change the pads on my 6spd and am shopping around. dealer runs about 225 for the fucking pads and i didnt want to spend that much. im still trying to decide whether to go with the hawks or not.

ive read a lot of posts about the hawks and they have mixed reviews. anyone else try the pads listed here?

I honestly can't tell any difference in performance, other than a lot less dust.
I always use liberal amounts of "brake quiet" spray on my pads, and have no squeaking/squeeling.
Very pleased with them.

Is the "brake quiet" spray necessary to keep then from squeaking/squeeling?

I'm pretty sure you should always use some sort of product on the backside of any brake pad.
Even the OEM pads have a sticky adhesive on them when removing from the caliper.

Its just good insurance. I've always used the NAPA brand called "Disc Brake Quiet".
Its like a spray on version of rubber cement.
