Lose leather after new skins

so I read all these thread about people getting new leather skins, so since mine were pretty worn for 10k miles, its a 2004 ebony leather.

I went to Hillside Acura in LI NY, and they did it no prob, also got all new tires for free and new bump stops.

anyways, they did the top and bottom skins, the top was fine but they did the entire seat I guess, but now the top portion is not as tight on some parts, it wrinckles, and the tech said thats how it is, and it should get tighter in the sun after some use.

for some reason I dont see it as getting tighter, anyone else have this issue? It wouldnt bother me if it was on both seats, but they wont do the pass side under warantee, and the pass side top is real tight around the corners and edges looks smooth.

I dont see why the skins dont fit like a glove unless they are aftermaket and not acura brand.

same thing what happened to me. they did replaced my leather seats twice, the second time is worse. the third time is they end up putting extra stichest like the 05TL seats. But they send my car to a local upholstery shop for all the works. Acura just order parts but the local shop did all the work.

I dont want to go through all that, I wish they didnt touch the top, the bottom looks stock, I am thinking of redoing the pass side, but it prolly wont be under warantee, at least them it would look the same pass and drivers side would have those wrinckles like you see in some seats.............to look more full

I had my '04 TL seat covers replaced with the '05 style, but it required new cushions under the leather, and new seat heaters. The extra seam in the new style has a rod attached that needs to be tied down into the cushion. There is a groove in the cushion, with anchor points for the rods. The '04 cushion does not have those grooves, nor the anchor points. If you were to try the '05 covers on a '04 cushion, it will never fit properly, look loose and slopy. The cushions are less than $100, same for the heater.

My dealer replaced my steering wheel because the corners looked like ass. I am really dissapointed that the back seat leather is some funky ass vinyl. The center is almost rubbery. My wifes 03 has much better leather than my 05.
