loose window
I was washing my car yesterday, when i noticed the right rear window is "loose" if you put your hand on it and try to move it... i mean even gently.... hard to explain, it's just like if the window is all the way up, you can put your hand flat out on it, and move it side to side and up and down about 1/4 of an inch.... anyone else seen this before??
I have an apointment tomorrow to bring it in...

Windows
1998 Acura RL, 58k miles, purchased new with extended warranty. Rear windows have malfunctioned 3 times. Once driver's side rear and twice passenger side rear. Now the passenger side front is inoperable. Warranty 7 years or 100k fixed first two occurences. 3rd and 4th are out of pocket at approx. 450.00 each. Anyone have same problem or a remedy ?

You should post this in the First Generation RL forum.

I had an issue with my '05 front passenger window. It was making an odd noise while going up and down. I took it in, and they applied 2005Aspec's favorite ointment, but that did nothing. They decided it was a faulty actuator/motor. I took it in to get that replaced and a couple days later the window came out of the track. I took it back, they put it back in it's track, but said there was some damage to it (gee, I wonder who did that). Anyway, I went in one more time and they replaced the track. Everything seems ok now.
So this probably has nothing to do with your situation . . . who knows though, maybe there's a problem with your track?
