I was recently driving my TL on the highway and realized that once I go past the 140 km/h mark , the steering gets loose. Maybe I was not paying attention to this before , but it has been a few weeks. I just changed to my winter tires on friday and got the alignment checked and it still happens. If anyone has any thought plz et me know. Thank you.

 

what do you mean by the steering gets loose? could you be mistaking this loose feeling with the difference between your winter tires and summer ones? have you checked yourself what psi the guys at the shop put in your new tires? you would hope that if something was loose like a tie rod or something in your steering they would catch it during the alignment, weird how its only noticeable after 140 too....

 

No , the same thing happened with my summer and winter tires different tires and rims and alignment is checked so I got no clue . Im not sure how stiff the steering shuld be at that speed or its normal it gets a little loose.
