Looking for a TL Help?

My dad owns a 2010 Tsx and my brother is looking for a TL around me, 60031 within 100miles. Need the navigation (tech package) and It needs to be under 15k, found a few, I think he wants black or a dark color. 2006 bad? Found a few and whats the Type S differences, power, interior, options?

Thanks, just need some info, will post some links later.

My brother and me like this one: http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...erTypes=d&mmt=[ACURA[TL[]][]]&modelCode1=TL&sortBy=derivedpriceASC&showcaseO wne rId=0&makeCode1=ACURA&startYear=2006&numRecords=75 &searchRadius=100&listingId=338832784&listingIn dex =27&Log=0

It has a good carfax unlike the other one me and him were looking at; the same thing but with 80k on it, same price but it was in an accident and had three owners. I'm looking forward for to your response and wisdom, thanks a lot!

Same car on their website: http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/dd...4&cardist=6111

The first link says the car is sold. The second car looks pretty good! I would try to knock down the price quite a but since the 105k service will be due rather soon.

If I were you, I wouldn't cut any corners and buy a car that's been in an accident. Replacing a bumper or something simple isn't a huge deal but I would be pretty uneasy if the damage was any more serious than that.

FIY if you decide to get the Type S in the link make sure be ready to spend $1200 on 105k services.

Well usually on other forums people help me out by telling me anything that's wrong with the car I'm looking at and if the price is too high. Thanks, same it's the same car and maybe for a $1200 I should look at a better one that's 2-3k more.

I can't see if anything is seriously wrong if I'm just looking at pictures online

Look at something a little more expensive and haggle the price down. I would pay more for peace of mind knowing the car hasn't been in an accident or has less miles.

you wanted to know the difference between a type-s and a base model...the wiki link will give you the info in so many words. there are also a number of threads comparing the two as well.

as far as how much you should pay for something...KBB, nada and edmund's, then comparables in the market. ultimately you won't know until you actually see the car in person and drive the darn thing. pictures can only say so much.

what's your budget?? what's the mileage you are looking at? AT/MT? base or type-s? CPO? color combo? there are lots of things that one must consider aside from wanting a clean car with no accident history. carfax reports are not entirely accurate, but at least will give you anough info to filter through the cars on the market.

He wants a blue Type S if he can get one, this one has numerous service records on carfax and good mileage. He likes the Acura Rims even though they aren't OEM on this car.

That link says the car is sold.

And the blue offered on the TL-S is "Kinetic Blue Pearl". Try Googling that and see what's for sale.

Have you looked on Craigslist or Cars.com or any other sites? What about the Cars For Sale section here on Acurazine?

Yeah the one with 94K has no accidents but why not get one with less miles.

Checked cars.com, Craigslist, and Okay but I don't want to buy on Acurazine because it'll be oh so far away.

Heres a link to their website: http://lombardtoyota.com/vehicle-det...5.html#infoTab

Link works for me...

Yep, that link works. Gorgeous KBP right there.

Those are A-Spec wheels; an option when the car was new. They are 18" compared to the stock 17" gunmetal wheels.

The drivers seat has some wear but that's pretty common for the TL. I would want Ebony interior but that's a good price for the miles and condition.

KBP is rare and for the price it seem right if not a little high (depend on your location), I would get that blue one since the owner taken good care of the car since day 1 and that A-spec wheels is a bonus. You need to put on a A-spec lip kit to complete the good looks, trust me that Taupe interior will slowly grow on you. I originally wanted Ebony/Silver interior but none was found so I have to go with Taupe. I think that car should be $18,200 OTD, good luck.

Do you know if the taupe is like the same thing in my 2010 Acura tsx, it's white with creme like leather? Thanks for the info, I hope I can get 1-2k off but whenever I try to get anything off they get me.

Why get a TL? I think you should get a Mercedes. Or a BMW. But Mercedes is better if you ask me. Just sayin.

Lol I don't know if your serious or not because of my user name, I like older Mercedes more than newer Mercedes but all in all I'm starting to like Acura. An older Mercedes is what I want but that's later... If your interested you may want to read this thread:
http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w140-s-class/1648770-new-member-w140-lover.html

P.s. if you read the thread Stryker really made me want a V12 S600 (M120 Engine).

^ Nope. Not serious. Friends don't let friends drive German cars.

Just joshin. German cars are awesome.....if you really like visiting your dealer. Or you only keep it for the first 30K miles. Ack. I just can't stop with the German car hate. Sorry.

Good luck on the TL search. I like the 2nd get TSX too. Sweet car. Just wish the V6 paired with a 6 speed. I would have picked one of those up instead of my TL.
