Looking for a TL and have questions.

Well I while ago I created a thread about strongly considering a TL but after looking at other models I pretty much have decided that TL is what I want. I am going to test drive some this weekend and make a purchase in a month or so.

What would be a reasonable price to pay for something like this? CPO automatic and non-navi. I know a lot of people suggest the navi but my dad's car has one and I never use it when I drive his car.

Hmm that's a pretty fair deal, but I'd still go a couple hundreds-thousand less. KBB is 23,800, but you never pay kbb price.

Out of curiosity, what car does your dad drive? I love my navi, and I use it everyday. It makes everything in general easier, not just navigation, but music, etc.

Not to mention the console just looks better with Navi IMO.

He has a 2006 MB E class. I saw that the one with navi is a lot more expensive or has more miles. Not worth it in my opinion. I am going to be trading my 02 Grand Am so it will be a huge step up even without a navi.

Yea, I know the TL interior looks a lot better with the navi and the 07+ non-navi looks better too but just not worth the money in my opinion.

I would say at least drive one with navi to play with it. Ballerjai is right, it changes the way you interface with the car, it isn't just a map. You get voice activation as well, which is pretty sweet. Having a big touch screen radio is nice too.

Well I test drove one yesterday. It was a 06 non-navi automatic. It was very comfortable and drove nice. They did have an 05 manual with navigation and all the A Spec goodies. If it wasn't silver like my current car, I would have seriously considered buying it.

I am going to take some more time to find a 6-speed one that I like.

I almost didn't get my current 07 because it was silver too. We already have one, but you get used to the sea of silver in the garage after awhile.

Not to mention Silver is so easy to keep clean. Doesn't show the dirt as much.

Yeah, this TL is my second silver car. My last favorite color was black, I just got so used to washing and waxing all the time. When I got my first silver car, I made it out to like day 4 or 5 without cleaning it and it still looked good. I was blown away!

I agree, everything becomes voice activated... You can change the climate control temps without repeatedly pushing the up/down temp buttons.... you cna go directly to a certain cd and track, you can go directly to a certain xm station... and the list goes on and on... I have also experienced the nav on many other cars and the acura is the most intutitve... Just try one out, but first look in the electronics section to find the list of commands and try them out before you decide. Either way the TL is a great car.

Well here is the deal, we all know manuals are harder to find and I am being just a little picky....it has to be 05 or 06 certified pre owned, white or gray, and I hate the tan leather. So all these things considered, I may have to just prefer manual over navi.
