Just want to introduce myself first as im new to the forums so hi

Onto the question, Iam looking for an Acura TL to purchase. What is the main difference between Aspec, Type S, and normal TL's? If anyone has pics of these three TL's to compare then that would be useful

Aspec is body kit, lowered, different wheels-seats

type S 6 speed manual trans- different cam different intake more hp-seats

 

Will a TL have a badge to signify that it has an Aspec body installed?

I was guessing aspec cars had type S seats, or better than a plain TL

 

No, A-Spec TL's have the same seats as base TL's.

Im guessing the Type S is the same thing right? I heard that the Type S has red interior lights instead of blue on a normal TL. In your opinion which is better; Type S or Aspec TL's? Which one is more expensive?

 

The Aspec has no engine difference whatsoever compared with the base TL, just exterior and suspension. The TL-S has a bigger and faster engine along with many other extra goodies such seats, interior, exterior, lights etc. I am going to to say the consensus of TZ members would prefer the TLS..

And you shouldn't buy a car based on other peoples opinions. Get a car that suits your needs, budget, and style.

 

Was this package available in Canada? Don’t think I have seen any here.

 

You can buy the parts at any Canadian dealer for the a-spec package, But i don't think the sold the pre built a-spec model. only the Dynamic package, base and Tl-S
