Looking for new floormats - stock or aftermarket
Floormats on my '04 are worn out and degrading the look of my interior. Does anyone recommend aftermarket floor mats or are oem the best looking/best quality?

Weathertech are by far the best if you have wet or snowy weather to deal with.
I got the OEM carpet ones for $110 at my local acura dealer, which wasnt too bad.

The stock mats do make the car look nice and clean, but they are cheap and wear out easily. I replaced mine (black mats) because I wore thru the stocks and I realized how cheap the mats really are. $100 from the dealer isn't too bad. I would have got the type-s mats if I had it to do again.

Oh RABBLE!!!! I went into the Acura dealer and asked for floormats for my Type-S, and they gave me the standard TL ones. I guess I'm gonna pay them a visit tomorrow. I gotta find a part number....

There are no Type-S mats that I have seen unless it was custom made.I could be wrong.

^^^^You're correct ggesq. I've wanted some for 2+ years now. I've looked in to having some made, but ACURA does not allow their logo to be reproduced. So you can't even get them made.

Whenever I get around to replacing mine, I'm getting a set of Acura All Weather Mats. I'm a sucker for shit that says Acura or TL on it

These are the one's I have from day 1. I've had the OEM all season mats for 2+ years and they still look JUST AS GOOD as the day I got my car brand new from the dealer. Case closed OEM FTW!!

Since you are in NY, I would advise against the Weathertech all seasons.
I had them for a year, and even though they have clip downs so they will supposedly not move around, they do.
They become very hard in cold temps, and it's literally as though your feet were on ice!
Yes, they hold the crud, but you have to warm them up before you can take them out and clean them.
At 74k, my TL-S's standard mats are holding up well
Alas, they are just standard TL mats, and have no TL-S logo....but I like the idea

Anyone ever try this place? http://www.qualitycarmats.com/
They have multiple different materials to choose from, you can have them embroidered with any lettering or font style as well as other options. They look like they might be higher quality than oem.

He painted them. I actually just did that this weekend too- only I just stuck with the TL part.
My car only came with the all season mats, which is fine. But summer is approaching and I really want a set of carpet mats. The all season ones show everything.

I like that painted OEM look.... hmmmm...
I have the OEM ones and I get compliments from friends all the time about how nice they are. They seem to be cheaper than the weather tech ones too (100ish vs 170ish)
