Looking for a new 2006 TL? Your search could be over!

I have recently purchased the 2006 TL with Navi and the price quote I have on paper from the dealer is $32,500 out the door (With taxes and plates in VA).

I am currently out of town for buisness, but when I return home next weekend, I will scan the price quote and hopefully, anyone interested in purchasing a new TL can print it out to ask for a price match.

Worst case scenerio would be to call up my dealer to get it through him.

I really believe the price is amazing so if you're interested, just holler and I'll be glad to help!

You sure?

Not to place doubt in your head.

That seems a little low.
Retail / Invoice
Edmunds has the '06 TL Navi auto or 6mt 35325 / 32205
'06 TL auto or 6mt 33325 / 30384

They are offering an '06 TL w/Navi for 32500 Out-the-door ?
They are selling for @$1300 BELOW invoice?

At invoice 32205 * 5% tax = $33815
Your quote: 32500 * 95% = $30875 purchase price <----Backing out the tax in order to get your quote of $32500 OTD.

I hope the dealer doesn't renege on that quote. Did you have a trade-in? I'm not sure how VA works, but in Ohio, If you have a trade-in, you don't have to pay tax on the amount of the trade-in towards the new car purchase.

If so, that is a great price.

i snagged my 05 tl at pohanka acura- 6 speed with navi.

i busted that salesman's balls to get it though. i went back for test drives in tsx, tl, day, night, you name it- i went on at least 10 drives. and i ended up picking up the car minutes before closing the last day of the month. worked like a champ.

and i paid 33 out the door.

Quotes do not mean anything. What matters is the Out the Door Price PAID without trade-in.... If a trade-in is involved..miles on the car or demo the Out the Door price is meaningless.

Don't forget taxes. Sales taxes can run from no sales tax at all to 8% or more depending on what state you are in. That can easily mean >$2000 difference in the "Out the Door" price.

He isnt selling it. He is giving people a pricepoint to bring up to THEIR dealer to see if they will match the price.

your probably in MD where theres a higher sales tax. your OTD is around what I got mine for (~34,900). The relevant number to compare is the starting base price, which comes before sales tax, processing fees, etc which varies by state/location.

My price of 32,500 OTD was in VA and it was for a 6MT w/Navi.

I am positive this was the OTD price because I had already purchased it!

I will scan up the info when I go home next weekend. Hope it'll help a lot of ya'll and possible get some great deals on your TL's too!

I wish I got all of your guys deals! I bought my 06 TL non-navi last Oct for just under $34,500 OTD in IL.

I didn't have a trade-in and I paid cash. I think they price I got was $31,800 but after I added in the taxes (around 8.5%) it came out to just under $34,500. Taxes suck.

Yea I agree with xtin!

My X5 has been nothing but problems! I'm sure a lot of you might not agree, but BMW X5 might not be worth your money if anyone is interested in that car.

I'm an RF engineer and my company is pretty good about taking care of their employees.

My wife is a teacher and you know how much teachers make.
Hope she doesn't read this post.

I work for an Acura dealership and I just bought my 2006 TL Navi for $32,000 plus tax and tag only. BTW, I bought a 1476 mile trade in because a new 06 invoice is approx $33,000 plus any add on accessories. My buddy originally sold the car 10/31/05 and the owner is moving out of state so he decided to sell it back to the dealership. car is perfect and has the protection packages (mud flaps, trunk tray and wheel locks) as well as carbon film so it wont interfere with the navi. The car was sold certified so I went ahead and got the extention til 7 years 100k mi bumper to bumper for $980 additional instead of the $1860 it would cost on a new 06 TL. So I saved about $2,500 total. acr is black on black.

Everyone, my bad on the upload of the quote!

I am not BSing anyone and I am trying to do my best to help any new TL buyers. (I have no reason to BS anything to waste even my time and yours) I've been in Cali for buisness recently with a rental car (Nissan Maxima) and I missed my TL terribly!

Here is the scoop on the new TLs

1) Both me and my buddy bought ours at Radley Acura in Falls Church / VA.
Me (6MT with A-Spec Package + Acura Music Link) = 32,500 (TL) + 6,500 (Full A-Spec Installed) = 39,000 OTD (Dealer name: Austin)
My buddy (5AT with Rear Wing Spoiler) = 32,500 (TL) + 500 (Spoiler) = 33,000 OTD (Dealer name: Jae)

*All prices are out the door which included taxes/tags.

ASK FOR THOSE TWO DEALERS AND MENTION THAT YOU KNOW OF GUYS WHO GOT THOSE DEALS AT THAT EXACT PRICE RECENTLY IN JANUARY. THEY WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHO YOU'RE REFERRING TO.

2) I still have the quote and of course my finance documents, but it contains too much of my personal information so my wife and I don't think it's a good idea to scan it. However, I am willing to fax it to you (with my information whited out) if you're SERIOUSLY in need of the quote so email me at sybaek3@gmail.com with your contact. I'll do what I can to help a fellow TL buyer.

Sorry about the hassel and good luck all you new buyers!!!

WHAT IS THE BREAKDOWN? vehicle sale, doc - prep - delivery - B.S. fee if any, tax and tag fees. $32,500 out the door here in Florida is $29,953 sale at most dealers. Tax alone is $1800 plus $210 tag and $499 dealer fee.
