Currently I am talking with my local Acura dealer regarding an 04 TL Blue/Quartz 6MT. They stated it would take 6 weeks to get, none are available in So Cal. Is there any information I should know about before I sign on the dotted line? I am also looking to get a body kit and spoiler. Recently I noticed many members are talking about waiting for the after market manufacturers to come out with thier versions of the kit. I really like the Acura version. I don't want it too aggressive, just clean. Then later I will be replacing the wheels and tires.

Suggestions or comments are appreciated.

6 weeks waiting seems reasonable, maybe faster, we actaully don't know, please look around, it also depends on Acura plant's production abilities and 05TL's schedule.

If you try to get only skirts or bodykit without having the whole A-Spec package, IMO, remember to negotiate to have better tires instead of EL42s OEM tires. Either your dealer is willing to give you free "good" tires or they give you $100 at least discount for each EL42 will benefit your car. Those good tires will be performing better or selling more than EL42, no matter what you're going to deal with them in the future.

Well, but if you're gonna get bigger rims and tires and don't like to have any hassel with them, there is no need to work out this issue...

 

did you search around because when i was at Acura 101 West, to get my 6MT/Camel/Anthracite delivered (checked inventory before i went and knew they didnt have any manuals in stock)... well they "checked their computer and said that there werent any mans of any colour in SoCal... well i had a hard time believing that and went on a online inventory crusade, and found 5 manuals in socal, and the one i wanted about 35 min from where i lived... so you can never trust these people somtimes...

i second the getting better tires because the stock non hp ones are truely crap...
