Look who gets a new OEM dashboard for $219
I got a busted windshield, I already had a nasty cracked dash that started in late spring 2020, anyway.....repair shop is including it in the estimate because some glass shards scratched the dash (lol). We all know a piece of glass didn't cause any more damage than what was already done. Anyway my comprehensive deductible is $250 + $219 for dash. I was 2 seconds from ordering a dash cover too.

dang. what caused the windshield to crack? and hell yeah on the dash replacement
might be worth throwing up some ceramic windshield tint on the new windshield. i had some put on mine earlier this year and its very nice. i also almost always use a sunshade in the summer

Definitely a Hell-Yeah!
So far, knock on wood, I've been lucky, my 2006 is still rockin' a crack free dash. Whether that's because the original owner had it replaced, or because the car spends it's time under a lucky star, I have no idea.

I use a windshield cover yearly. Covercraft I believe for both my 07 and 08 Type S's. I get some good ribbing from the friends and co workers when they see a windshield cover up in January when it's 20 degrees out. Just wanna keep the sun off it, probably silly I know. But 175,000 on the 07, 119,000 on the 08 and zero dash issues...

Congrats! Way better deal than I got 7-8 years ago for the dashboard replacement. Just make sure they do the job correct so you don't hear any rattles. I had Acura do the replacement and in the winter (If I take my car out) I can hear some noise coming from the dashboard. In the spring/summer seasons I don't hear anything.

These are fake guys, no passenger airbag outline! (Just kidding)
mine has not cracked yet but I have a different shine around the passenger airbag, I’m pretty envious of that new look yours has.

I was more nervous they would mess up my LEDs in the center stack lol. I can appreciate all my lights working

Yea that last center radio control - climate control - navi control picture certainly confirms that I have 2 burnt out LED's, ironically the same 2 on both of my 07 and 08 Type S's. Annoying but liveable with...funny in a way that the exact 2 are burnt out of both cars.
