How much do you pay for insurance and who is your carrier?

 

It's a question that invites vague answers.

There are a LOT of variables in insurance pricing, such as age of insured driver(s), vehicle(s) insured, location, pattern of usage, ABS/DRL/security system/good driver discounts, etc.

That said, I'm 36 and I insure my '99 Toyota and newly acquired '04 TL with full coverage, and my '87 Dodge with liability only. I also have an umbrella policy tied into my homeowner's policy. The '69 Dodge is on a separate collectors policy.

I insure with Allstate, and the three cars cost roughly $2,800/yr. The Acura will be roughly $1,100/yr of the total.
