It does tell you atleast that it's a conversion, not selling it as a "legit" type-S. No funny.

 

i find it funny when u put a emblem of a car that its not on there... just like when i went to go look for a g8 and thought i found a g8 gxp but it only had the emblems on it and they try to sell it for more... still funny to lie about what you car really is (putting false emblems on cars)

I mean; it would be funny if the seller did not disclose that it is an 04 and we were left to guess.

but seller clearly states that its an 04 with type-s additions.
agreed that a badge doesnt make the car faster or better; but seller clearly states what additions he made.

To the OP, I find it quite cheesy for sure when I see a badge like this placed on the wrong model of car. I don't exactly find it funny though. I have never been a big fan of badges in the first place and never understood why people would do it anyways.

 

I see what the OP is saying. I wouldnt have made a seperate post about it, but yeah I personally think its ridiculous that the owner of that car put a Type S badge on it. Ok sure put Type S wheels on it or the tail lights because you like that look, but to put the badge on there is just lame. It makes the real Type S's look bad.
Either way though its nothing new. Over on the corvette forums we see guys put Z06 badges on their base Corvette's all the time, or even worse years ago when I was into F-bodies there were guys that literally put Corvette emblems on their Camaros. Now THAT deserves an LOL

 

I like the type-s rims and tail lights. They look a lot better than the 04 base wheels/tails IMO. Ppl have been doing the quad tail pipes on the base TL's and those look good too. Now, that Type-s badge I wouldn't do though.
