Just have him let you into the car with a slim jim and hit the trunk button

I'm also going to assume the doors are locked.. if not you can hit the trunk button below the VSA switch. You can also pull down the rear arm rest, open the trunk pass through, reach up and pull the lever to open the trunk

[unless i'm thinking of a different car.... that should work]

I believe you can get a key made at the dealer from the VIN.

After you get into your car I'd recommend keeping the valet key in your wallet as a back up key. I wonder is Acura TLC roadside assistance will pop the lock?

Good luck.

dont use a slim jim, you can fuck shit up with an idiot trying to do it.

call a locksmith that uses a blood pressure cuff looking thing(but its alot stronger than that, and made for auto's) to open the top of the door and slide something in.

or you can do it yourself, get a blood pressure cuff, slide it into the door, put a wooden door stop in the opening, use a slim metal object to hit the unlock button and your done!

This is your best chance to get another key cut. Go to dealership with proof of ownership and ID, they will cut a key for you, and there you go you got another key!!

Ok, I towed for 5 years and that included doing lockouts. I would much prefer going through the inside of the door panel. You are MUCH more likely to fuck something up (scratch interior) by doing your method. That is assuming the driver is good at lockouts...

If there is no chip in the key.. then why do it at the dealership can't you get some crooked locksmith to just cut it for you? It would hell of lot cheaper.

Oh my gosh, this reminds me of when I was dumb and just got the car. I locked my keys in the trunk, but my doors were open so I was like whew I can just open the trunk from the inside. So I spent hours (at night) to find the trunk opener and never found it, then I just assumed that we didn't have one (dumb of me). I ended up taking another hour trying to use a hanger from the rear seats opening the panel and pulling the keys out using my laptop screen in my trunk as a light! Than once I got the keys, my friend found the trunk opener. Now thats a FML moment.

I once locked my keys in my car in the ignition, with the engine running.... I had to call a friend of mine to come pick me up to get my spare key at home, took almost 2 hours total. Good times.

the best thing to do is go to a locksmith and buy an Honda HD103 blank. this blank is pure metal and pretty slim. Get it cut and stick it in between two credit cards in your wallet. Total cost, 5 dollars.

wtf champ.. lol.. it would have been hilarious if you couldn't get your key + the valet switch was off so when you did hit the trunk release it still wouldn't open... ahh..

Well I haven't had a moment like this before (knock on wood).. but my buddy and I were out & about several years back and when we parked we got out of the car to go eat.. well.. my dumbass buddy, H.S. valedictorian and only B.A & M.A. Summa Cum Laude in his Poly Sci Dept, left the keys in the ignition with the car running and yes.. doors locked.

We had to call his sister who was seeing a movie with her boyfriend to bring us the extra keys. lol.. man I'll never forget that.. not quite as bad as some stories my other buddy (tow truck driver) has told me though.

I've actually done this once too. The scary thing is that for this car, it is impossible to lock your keys in the car, and yet, I still locked my keys in my trunk. Completely stupid or what (me that is, not the car)?

I did this with a rental car in Orlando once. Call a company called Pop-a-Lock. They pry the window open a little with an inflaitable bag then use a tool to pull the door lock up. It took them about 5 minutes and cost me $35.
