Hey guys .. well in the beggining of this sumer on staten island chevys on hylan used to have a car show every wednesday night for all local cars but it got cancelled because the chevys owner didnt like the noise ... now i found out it moved to caldor off south avenue on the 440 ... i went for the first time 2 nights ago .. all i did was pull in and kids come running up to my car .." do u wanna run tonite" i was like no thanks not tonite my tranny was feeling very wierd .. 5 at

so they took my number and were like were gunna call u next wednsday.. so i go meet up wityh my crew .. a 330 ci with intake shark injector and pulleys , an audi s4, a mustang v6, a chrysler 300 and g35 coupe.. so all theese guys are comin over .. i guess they saw my neons and was liek this kid wants to race lol. there tryin to negotiate .. i wish i recorded the shit they were sayin about how this kids mazda 6 beats the shit out of this kids altima SER how this kids maxima runs 14.0 ... in my head i was sayin i wish my tranny felt good so i could disgrace theese liars .. so i leave and my friends wind up runin my friend in the 330 runs a srt4 i heard the srt only won by a half a car length . does that sound right .. and my frined in the s4 cant drive and lost to a ehavily modded wrx

stock srt 4 -- With a good driver, you will probably lose.
chrysler 300 c -- You will lose.
240 sx intake turbo -- SR20DET conversion? You will get your ass whooped; the severity of ass-whooping will depend on the modding level.
g35 coupe stock -- With a good driver, you will lose.
a mazda rx8 stock at -- You will win.
audi a4 2.0 quattro -- Mods? If mildly modded, you will win.
03 mustang gt with flowmasters -- Stick or auto? Huge difference in the SN95. If it's an auto, you will probably be within a couple of carlengths of each other; if it's a stick, you will lose.

pure adrenalin u really think the maxima will win with the intake and chip ... the chips they talk about are like the 20 -50 dollar ones that look like a firecracker with wires ... hmm maybe i should htink twice about that

 

You didn't specify. So I assumed that it was a decent chip. But if it's a shitty one, then, well, I guess you could win.


Bottom line is, it all comes down to the driver, variables, traction, etc, etc. It is stupid and pointless to ask if you could beat this car or that car. Just go out and do it. Unpredictability is part of the fun.

 

I've taken out my friends 04 maxima 5 speed auto in my 04 TL auto. It's close off the line, but after 50 mph, you will walk him.

Just make sure to shut the VSA off, and have all your shifts at redline. Let us know how it goes.
