im looking to do a 07 base front end swap on my 07 type s. i cannot stand the hideous lip that is offered for the type s so im gonna do the swap and was wondering what parts are need to complete the swap. please let me know whats needed from this site thank you

all you need is the front bumper and the lip, lip comes pre-painted but NOT the bumper
chrome grill you can reuse... fogs you can reuse...

oh and you need base lower grills

if I were you I'd attack it the way jptl04 did it

 

i would do what jptl04 did but around here there isnt anyone i trust hacking my lip lol...by lower grill you mean the mesh covers next to the fogs?

that's correct lower grills have the foglight surround attached

sure its in like 7 pieces got into an accident so just pay for shipping and i'll show it all up in a box and send it to you...just take white duct tape and piece it back together and you'll be golden lol

 

Yep all you need is:

07-08 Base Bumper
07-08 Base Lower Fog Grille Trims
07-08 Base Lip

FYI: The lower fog trims will not match your upper chrome grille color though. The accent strip is satin silver on the 07-08 Base, the TL-S is the black/darker chrome. Maybe you can swap the accent strips, or something, they are removable.

 

i would just use the accent trim from the type s...also the fog grill wont match the grill either..the type s grill and fog grill is a honey comb pattern..and the base model is just normal normal looking lol

 

are you going to be swapping everything including the rear and sides too?
