I exactly do not know what brand. I didn't ask the seller but most folks are using it on their bimmers. I will be purchasing a set of 6000k.
3000k = yellow
4300k = stock
5000k = white
6000k = clean white with blue/purplish hue (recommended and not ricey blue look)
8000k = too blue (ricey...stay away)
10000k= purplish (don't bother)
12000k =

thats because the Accord has a reflective halogen housing not meant for HIDs. that type of housing scatters the light in every direction also blinding other drivers.

Loving my 08 TLS!
I am not sure what brand they are selling for that price. But I had the Philips Ultrinon (sp?) on my 2nd Gen TL and they last longer than my car. I probably had them on for a good 4 years and never had a problem. So if I were to upgrade to 6k I will definitely go back to Philips.

How does XTec compare?
The D2S I posted have a really great rep for maintaining their color temp and lumens output throught their entire life span .... unlike our stockers and other brands.... just curious

Not hard, you just do it through the fender wells, just turn your wheels all the way to the right or left and pull that plastic piece off and you and reach up under it....search for a DIY....i remember seeing one

The color on bulbs differ from manufacturer. I have seen 10,000K bulbs that are really blue and others that are really purple. You can't tell what they will look like without at least a picture. I am curious to see what the 6000Ks look like. Please post a pic somebody.
BTW the BMW projectors are much bigger than the TL's We need rings that are about 3" diameter on our cars. Umnitzas are better because they are CCFL. Sorry LED rings don't cut it anymore, they are soo 2003 now. Some LED rings have flexible rings so they are adaptable but most are made of rigid plastic. CCFLs come in glass rings so they have no room for error. Your measurements have to be +/- 1mm.
