Limp mode no codes

I have a 05 Acura TL 5 speed auto and I recently changed the tires on it and went to go start it back up and go for a drive and it’s now In limp mode with no codes
tires and wheels stayed the same size no difference
wont go over roughly 3k rpm’s
Speedometer doesn’t work
I jacked up the car and spun the front wheels and nothing popped up on the data stream
I’ve replaced the speed sensors multiple times on it so I don’t believe that would be the culprit
Im really stuck and needing some help on what to do a 30 min tire change has turned into a 2 week puzzle

Zero codes at all? Did you disconnect the battery at any point during the tire change? Is it possible you have a bad connection or loose ground?

A bad APP sensor or anything intake related I would think ought to throw codes but maybe someone else can chime in here.

The speedometer not registering seems to be a root issue. Was the D gear light ever flashing? Does the car shift through all 5 gears smoothly? Do the revs peak right before 4100rpms? If so it might be related to a countershaft speed sensor. This is what I could find from the service manual.

Also recheck the connectors on the top for the wheel speed sensor.

0 codes, 0 lights, no warnings
I believe the d light did blink once before I parked the car to change the tires but It went away so i didn’t assume anything from it

What scanner are you using? You need something better than $10 ebay bluetooth plug. Can it scan codes/data from other modules than ECM/PCM?

Speedo works by receiving signals from ECM, and ECM figures out vehicle speed from transmission output shaft sensor. I think you can have none of ABS sensors working and speedo should still be operational. I don't know if not having any abs sensors would cause limp mode but I believe it shouldn't.

There are crappy $100 scanners. Anyways, you are reading the ABS sensors, not trans output shaft sensor, right? Do you have communication with ECM, ABS module, gauge cluster?

There must be some codes, or there is no communication (some module is not online / can't communicate with the rest) (but that would cause codes for no-communication appearing at all other modules). They might be set only on drive so read codes without shutting the engine off.

Same thing happened to me about 4 years ago. Went to AdvanceAuto to read codes. Said throttle body module was bad. Replaced it and that fixed it! Cheers
