I have the pedals and the sills.
My sills have been on over 2.5 yrs. Had a couple loose connections (my fault) but besides that they have been working perfectly. Everytime someone opens a door and climbs into my car for the first time I get all the OOooOhs!

Here's an alternative from www.UltimatePedals.com. They also make accelerator and brake pedals, but I just needed a Dead Pedal. Call Rob at Ultimate Pedals...he's great to work with and the quality is excellent. By the way, I'm still looking for sills that light up more than just the ACURA logo. The link posted above looks good, but they don't have red sills for the Type S. Plus, I'd like it if more than just the logo illuminated. The 2007 sills have horizontal lines on either side of the ACURA logo. It would be kick-ass if the horizontal lines lit up too.

^^ read the thread. My car is an 06 and didn't come with footwell lighting.
Those sills above are those custom sills I have talked about a lot. They are good if they are in your budget. I prefer them but the supercomputer style sills are more affordable. Rarely you can score a set f the supercomputer sills on the black market, I have seen people sell them sometimes. The good thing is he did sell them in red for the Type-S back in 2007.

^^^^I've been dropping them emails each week. Never a response. I don't think they're around anymore.
Anyone know how they incorporated the illumination under the stock sills?
I have Super's version...but want to somehow use his lighting under my stockers...how hard could it be?

Yeah I don't think he has been around since 2006/7. I haven't heard of anyone getting them done recently
I had sills on my old BMW that used special cyan/aqua colored LEDs (I know, weird. Hard to find this color in LED). The supercomputers ones look to be like the ol skool "indiglow" technology or "EL Strips" type of lighting.

That would be cool..I'm at a point where I would like to do this mod for my 2007 Type S, but I want more than just the Acura logo lit up. There are horizontal lines on each side of the logo. It would be cool if the logo and those horizontal lines lit up.

I will remove Supercomputer's and see if I can somehow incorporate his "EL STrips" to the OEM sills

Thanks JP...I just wrote to him to inquire about pricing and to see if he still does this. Did you do the install on yours? If so, how difficult was it? Oh, how long ago did Andy do this for you?

Oh yeah, jp, I knew I saw it on someone's car recently. That is EXACTLY how I wanted the sill done originally on my car; glowing in white. It think it looks so HOTT and different from the standard blue everyone has now. I don't know if this is the same guy I saw from a long time ago, the sill looks slightly different? (Unless the 07+ cars have a different sill, I guess they do huh?) The guy cuts the original sill and gives it that perfect flush finish. I love it!
Why didn't I do it? Costs more than double that of Supercomputer's sill. I couldn't justify the difference. Hey, but whoever thinks it's worth it, more power to ya!

yeah, i did the install myself. its pretty easy. only like four or five wires. you'll have to tap into the door light button, and the fuse box. i installed the at the end of october last year, it took him like about a month and a half to make them. he told me he only had blue light up strips. he might have red or white by now if he still makes them.

yeah, a bit pricey. double the $$ of the supercomputers but to me they are triple the quality. worth it to me, to get the OEM look i wanted.

Also, I have a base TL and was only able to find the red sills. I was worried about it clashing with the blue, but I don't think it's too bad. Those white ones rock, though!

I looked at that, but the LED strip would have to be replaced and Im not sure where I would get something like that. If you know someplace, I can post better pics for you.
If I had my choice, and cost was no object, I would go with the same type as the white sills posted above---they appear to be a higher quality (mine are just overlaid with 3M tape) and use the stock doorsills, which I find to be beautiful. I emailed that guy a while ago and never heard back from him.

DWB, I like the way those red sills look with your blue TL interior. KrMerritt, you cannot change the lighting from red to blue or vice versa. The ACURA logo is a light strip already colored. They cannot be switched up-unfortunately. I also got mine on the Black Market by posting a "Willing To Buy". All of these sills adhere with 3M tape. But those white ones ARE really good looking. But I'd still want them in red-not white (because I have a Type S).

Help with wiring footwell lights
I'm looking to install the LED strips in my footwells. I hope someone can help with the wiring.
I have 4 strips and plan to use them similar to Rockyfeller's---2 under the front dash and 2 under the front of the rear seat firing forward. I would like them to come on with the parking lights and have a switch in the dash. I have all the parts.
My question is about wiring. I have a lighted switch (2+/1- connections) from Oznium. So, I need to connect all 4 positive leads on the strips to the Accessory lead on the switch, all 4 grounds and the ground lead on the switch to a common ground, and the positive lead on the switch to the parking lights source.
Presuming my wiring design is correct, what is a suitable power source inside the car that goes hot with the parking lights? Also, where is the best common ground? I presume I could use the ground strap near the fusebox.
Finally, I plan to use CAT5 cabling for this project and use one pair of twisted wires for my Navtool video switch, running it from trunk to rear footwell lights (tapping 2 more pairs), then up center console to dash. The front lights will be wired separate. Will I be okay with this cabling?
What have you guys done? Any and all comments are appreciated.
