Lifting the car up..

Is it ok to jack the TL up from the front or the back of the car?
I mean like place the jack under the front of the car or under the back of the car and jack it up.

The reason I ask is because I was looking at some pictures of Clear Bra installs and they jack the car up from the front for the front install and back for the rear bumper install.

Ther are front and back locations. The rear is placing the foot of the jack directly under the tow loop in the middle looking under the car.

The front is where you see a flat plate between the two wheels.I forget what its called.

I did mine yesterday for the first time. The front one is easy to find. There is a black plastic apron across the front of the car with a big arrow in it pointing to the shiny metal cross member with a raised piece in it, which is the front jacking point.

Then you put the stands under the metal brackets where the car jack is designed to go.
