I order 2 supernova led bulbs for licenses plate in super white. one bulb was super white and other was kind yellowish so I email the autolunination told them the problem. they say they will refund me for the bulb. so I said I want to order 2 more bulbs so I have replacement before I sent it back. I receive 2 new bulbs on friday and put them on yesterday and 1 bulb was same color like the one I had problem with from first order and other one was good. I wonder if anyone else had problem with theses supernova bulbs.

are there better licenses plate bulbs then supernova in future now I matched them same color but I will send 2 bulbs back for refund

just curious, but have you tried switching the bulbs with each other to see if its the circuit/harness thats mess up???

why cant you just send one back?

yea i switched it was the same thing but the second order i order another 2 bulbs and 1 out of 2 was good so the problem is on there side. but it seems like i am the only one that came across this problem but now everything is straight out.

i have 4 bulbs two are on the car good and two are bed i want to send back

that's weird. two sets with same bulb problem. are the part numbers and appearance identical?

if you look closely, all the supernova leds have yellowish output on the outter edges.
i've indicated this problem with them as well, they just sent me back a long email with explanation of how each leds have different temperature and etc....
they do have a nice white output if you look directly at them, but if you aim it sideway on a white piece of paper, you'll see the yellowish output on the very outter edge.

i didn't bother with exchange or refund, I sold all the supernova already locally.

oh just for your info, double check your connection, push them in all the way and test them before you put them back in.

I had this same exact problem with the supernovas. One was a warm white output and the other was a cool white. I also sent them an email and they suggested that I buy another pair and match them...

Interesting...I recently installed the superlumination 194's in the license plate lighting spot on my TL and they seem to match each other fine and are definitely a BRIGHT white. Bad batch?

yea I try everything it is in the bulbs

once these go out I would like to use different bulbs because I don't want to go thru this again. if anyone has or know better bulbs for licenses plate let me know

dude get polarg bulbs they are clean, i had them on my wrx before my tl its great

i actually don't have any pictures, i am in the mids of getting a new camera but nothing right now sorry man. All i gotta say is that you'll probably love the polarg bulbs they are amazing, or just search for someone who has a picture up
