Anyone know if the License Plate Holder on the back of the 07's will fit an 06?

Not sure if anyone ever notice but the 07 its chrom and the other models its like a flat silver color... Also wonder if it has a spot for my rearview camera whenever I get it from wendy.

I asked for a pic when the 07 first came back but no one posted it. I was wondering if I could buy it to install my camera in also.

But you cant see it really, even if you save the pic and zoom in, you just see that it is there but thats it.

I am also wondering if we got that and the camera what kinda plug it would have and would it go into DOM's unit fine. If so this would be great, other than I just bought my camera from wendy, lol I just rather have the factory look and design if possible, plus I am sure that camera is better. It prob does not have the fish eye look to it, and we know its got to be in the right position.. This just seems like it would be a simply remove the old and put the new one on and now you have the nice new look AND a factory camera.

Can anyone with an 07 Chime in please and help us find out?

Any chance to get a pic with the trunk lid up so more light can get under the frame part? Just wana see how the Camera mounts in that bad boy. Also, is it me or did the plate lights change? I dont even see them in that pic and you got a good angle, just a lil dark.

Can you take the entire frame off your car and mesure the distance of the screws and all to let us know if it matches out 04-06 TL's?

Anyway, looks like the camera is inside some odd type of braket. Wonder how much of a pain would be to get Wendys Camera to fit and mount, unless the entire thing comes with a camera.

Cant wait to hear what kinda crazy price this part will cost if I wana replace.

it seems there are some differences between 04-06 and 07 plate holder (backup camera portion), and I wonder if you can plug-and-play 07's on 04-06

Any updates on this? Has anyone gotten to verify if its a direct swap or not? I live to far from the dealer or I would just stop and visit and compare with my car... I email Tim and he said he didnt know, told me to just buy and find out. but I dont have the money to risk on that... I like the chrome much better plus it already has the spot for the camera.

If anyone finds anything out PLEASE let me know.
