License plate frame... third hole??

Ok.. I just got my plates... The owner before me had the plates in the front with the frame. I took everything apart.. and now I have 2 holes (left and right side of the "ACURA") where the plugs go... But I also have a 3rd whole above the "ACURA"..... Is this a lost cause? or is there a way to cover that up? It seems like they drilled the whole throught the bumper......

There should only be 2 holes (where the bumper plugs go). Can't think of any reason why that center hole is there. I think you're SOL. Maybe a paint shop can offer some recommendations. Eithe that or replace it.

argh.. I think I am SOL........ stupid ass people had to drill a third whole INTO the bumper

i guess I'll just have to leave the plate on...... rather than having a third eye!

I am in the same situation with my SSM as the car was originally sold in NY. I ordered a piece from Bumper Plugs, but have yet to install it. I need to neaten up the hole first.

Not sure how to go about cleaning up that third whole.... Anyone know of a bottom shop in Va/DC/MD area that would do it for cheap?

sometimes the third hole is already drilled when the car is delivered. I doubt that the owner of that vehicle did it himself. there is no need for that hole. If you had gotten it straight from the dealer, you would have been able to go back and complain about it.

My f'in dealer did it to my car for the previous owner. I took my bumper off and had my body shop fill it with a plastic made for bumpers. I also had four dimples from the license plate screws touchin the paint. All in all it cost me $150 with the two bumper plugs. Heres a pic. http://home.comcast.net/~ryan97812/nose_small.JPG
