California requires plates F/R as well.

Both plate frames are good. But, the dark one would stand out more by being subtle.

unless you badged the rear, i agree with Shark because thats too many " ACURA TL" for the rear. Im sure people know that you obviously drive an acura TL lol

I say a plain black frame with a smoked cover looks the best

I have the second one on my car. I put it on last spring but with this winter and all of the salt it is starting to corrode and discolor around the lettering. This is not good considering the amount that I paid for the frame.

Badged - No frames. Looks better with the clean and simple look. If you must have something, then a smoked cover or a frame with thin borders (maybe CF wrapped).

Debadged - The darker one would look better for NHBP.

Your license plate holder should be the plain OEM unit. That isn't where you want to draw attention.

OP pictures are linked to eBay, so you should be able to find them there

For the back, I have an all chrome one that I painted flat black, it was on since my old car and I put it on the TL because it's a piece of my old car But between those, I agree, none. The one poster is right about the rear and the "TL TYPE S" on there twice if you have the badges too haha.

I would say just go with a matte black frame. The type-s badge and the type-s on the plate frame is a littel over kill IMHO.

I'd say neither personally, I like the chrome Acura ones they have at the dealership but they're kind of pricey. I'm rocking no plate frame with a smoked cover on it. It looks good with the carbon tail lights. They're only 5 dollars at autozone.
