Lexus adds Bluetooth, TL has nicer dash

Nice,

Lexus adds Bluetooth wireless to its LS430. Hmmm look how similar that nav screen area is to the 04 TL.. If you look at the other article on autospies about the new LS430, you can see pictures of the whole dash. I think the TL looks like it is a generation ahead of the fat cat LS430!

I've seen pictures of beutiful chics only to see them and they look like crap. The LS 430 has been hailed as the best luxury sedan ever made. Get a grip.

but the Bluetooth is Optional, and more moolah on the Lexus

I dont know if Lexus has it on there Non-Navi models, but the TL does, and its STANDARD!

And the worst thing is, you can't access the phonebook or use half the features while the car is in motion

"To help avoid driver distraction, the one-touch dial feature is the only dialing function that a customer can access when the vehicle is in operation. The system can store up to 18 one-touch dial numbers. Some of the Bluetooth® functions are disabled when the vehicle is in motion, and the customer can use steering wheel controls to answer and end calls as well as adjust call volume. "

Lexus has it on NAV models only. Acura has done a GREAT job with the added technology. Which will be seen on the next RL and NSX hybrids.

I have heard nothing on a hybrid TL. The RL will be shown in Oct. with this tech. I guess it will begin with the high $$$$ models (NSX/RL) and trinkle down like it usually does.

I agree with this statement.

If I had $70k, I'd get the LS430 in a second. I believe with the adjustable suspension, at 60+ MPH it is the most aerodymanic sedan in the world.

Oh I got a grip okay. I wasn't trying to diss the 430 at all. But a lot of reviewers are saying it is getting a little dated, design wise. There is a new LS4xx I believe in 2005 that will be pretty awesome from what I hear.

The LS 430 is not a looker but has been updated for 2004 with all sorts of gizmos that we can find at the lexus website. I do like the fact it now has a 6-speed auto and with the same 290hp engine, does 0-60 in under 6 seconds. A true study in efficiency. Faster than a 340hp Q45.

Look out for new GS though - should be INCREDIBLE vehicle if Lexus can deliver as promised.. Maybe 1st application of new engines (GS 450, 460, 500 perhaps)..
I want gs500, awd, 375 hp... 400 torque.. $55k sticker...
See 1sicklex signature for more...
