Lemon Law
Lemon Law
My story. I went two times to dealer whith dead battery. First time he told me nothing wrong with battery and alternator. Second time my car was sitting in a dealer 5 days, and result new battery and looks like over tited belt. Today car didn't start at 2PM, and 5pm. After phone conversation I can get a loner car on monday, but maybe earlier. My question is how many times the same car should be in dealership with the same problem ,wich is not fixed yet, to be covered by the LEMON LAW???
hey i know in New York it's three or more same problem if it can't be fixed there is a time frame on that too 2 year's or 18,000 miles which one come's first so it seem like you had it around 3 to 4 times if not happy with the car take them to court lemon law i heard of people doing good getting a brand new car and some people getting to keep the car with money given back check into your state lemon law
Thanks TL MaN 05 WdP & narnia for advise.
The car is great, I will try to get new one.

go to www.bbb.org and go to their autoline program, you can find a summary of your state's lemon law. I just won a case thru the bbb autoline aribtration program (infiniti fx35)... so i have some confidence in it; however, before you go to the program, i HIGHLY suggest you do EVERYTHING required by your state to qualify under the lemon law. In michigan the state requires I allow the mfgr to actually look at the car (a factory trained tech, not just a dealer tech)... and i didnt allow them that, even though i allowed the dealer 6 times (2 more than required by law) to fix it.... so the arbitrator required me to let them try to fix it.. just a waste of time..but in the end its a decent program if you need to use it

no problem.. good luck, let me know if you have any questions about the bbb process... if you go through it.
there is a lot I could share, but I'm kind of tired and don't feel like typing it all up right now. If you need information I will to help a TL owner!

Thanks again. I print out LLinfo and put BBB side in my favorites, but it's not time yet.
