Part 1
OK so I have an issue with my A/C. The electronic control/display works it show me turning the fan up and down and temp, but the Fan* for the a/c isnt blowing no matter what I do.

Has anyone had this issue? by the way this is the second time.

They have had my car since July 3rd. When I call they claim they didnt get the right part ( I say bull shit ) SO they call Today July 15th and say its ready. The service managers goes to get my car and comes back and says "keep the loaner your car isnt ready we will call you"

have i said this is the second time have a/c problem in a new 2008 TL i have about 15K miles on it, If it happens again can i go lemon law?????? I live in Texas you HAVE to HAVE A/C YEAR ROUND


Part 2

While i was there I have a talk with the parts guy and he quoted me in writting a Full Body kit for my 2008 base Navi TL painted. With pick up from the dealer ( 5 mins away ) for $880 is this a good deal? Do you guys have to pay shipping on group buys???

Since i'm having issues with service and they inconvience me by saying the car is ready even thou is wasnt ... do u think i could get them to drop the price of the body kit even more for being a good paitent customer??? And by how much should I ask them to drop the price????

i say it never hurt to ask for the discount. you never know =].

the ac seems to be a problem for the tsx but i havent heard about it for the tl. from what i remember the 04 tsx had this problem with the ac blower going out. i doubt this is the case with the tl. i did some research when i was looking into buying a tsx, but decided for a tl. plus your car is newer since its a 08. sorry if i cant provide you a good answer. i just want to tell you what i know =]

the fan speed isn't changing? Have you tried using the AUTO mode and setting it to LO temp?

 

yeah nothing works...no matter the setting NO air gets blown out not hot nor cold just NOTHING...

This is the second both times they are fixing it for free b/c i only have 15k miles.

If it happens again do ya'll think i have a lemon case? I would hate to pay for the out of pocket in a few years.

 

I think you are trying to make a mountain from a mole hill. Parts break (twice), miscommunications happen. The warranty takes care of the repairs for a few years. I would think the extra time and trip rate perhaps a free oil change. You have to check your state lemon law to see if you have a case. Some people have major issues with their cars.

My a/c did the same thing last year. It took them a few days to obtain and install the part, I had a loaner. Don't remember what it was, will post later if I locate the receipt.

 

press the circulation button on the left side of the nav screen. if it is lit up no air comes out. if it isnt then air comes out. throwing this out there not sure if its the answer to your problem.

 

for it to be a lemon your car needs to be there x about of times in x amount of months for the same problem. in NY its like 5 times in 6 months or something, or 30-45 straight days, i forget
